About us – Why Ranch Jestřebice?
Just 70 kilometers from Prague, nestled in peaceful, pristine nature between Benešov and Tábor, you’ll find a place that combines education, adventure, and relaxation.
Ranch Jestřebice is the ideal destination for a school trip or outdoor education program, where children can experience real contact with animals, learn teamwork, discover the beauty of the countryside, and have plenty of fun. The area is fully enclosed and safe, surrounded by meadows and forests — far from busy roads and city noise.
Thanks to the combination of a natural setting, comfortable accommodation, homemade cuisine, and programs full of creativity, games, and exploration, we create a place that children and teachers remember long after returning home.

At Ranch Jestřebice, we believe that every outdoor school trip should be unique — tailored to the ideas of both teachers and children. That’s why you can design your own program based on your schedule and the theme of your stay. We’ll make sure each day includes something special.
To enrich your stay, we offer our educational nature trail, which runs throughout the ranch and introduces children to rural life in a fun and interactive way. Upon prior arrangement, we can also prepare a program with horses — children will learn how to care for them, try feeding and grooming, and even enjoy a short ride in the round pen. For the youngest ones, our beloved pony Emily is always ready to bring smiles to their faces.
We’re here to help — we’ll assist with organization, suggest program ideas, and recommend local trips worth including in your stay. Our goal is for children not only to have fun but also to learn something new and take home unforgettable memories.
Facilities and amenities
Ranch Jestřebice offers a wide variety of spaces for different purposes — whether for learning, creativity, games, or relaxation. Everything is designed so that children can enjoy every day to the fullest, regardless of the weather.
Here, children have plenty of room for movement, creativity, and calm, while teachers can be sure that all activities take place in a safe and inspiring environment.
Conference room with projector
We have a spacious conference room that can comfortably accommodate an entire group of children and teachers. It’s ideal for lessons, group presentations, or creative activities. A projector is available for displaying educational materials, documentaries, or even favorite cartoons. The room is bright, cozy, and provides a perfect setting for quieter parts of the day.
The Great Barn – a space for creativity and games
For larger group activities, the Great Barn serves as the heart of the ranch. It’s a spacious, covered, and well-soundproofed area perfect for learning, playing, and creative workshops — especially when the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor activities.
A second projector will soon be added, making the barn an ideal space for interactive learning, school performances, or evening movie screenings.
Playground and outdoor activities
Children can really have fun outdoors at our modern playground, which features swings, climbing frames, a sandbox, and safe areas for running and games. The surroundings of the ranch provide plenty of space for sports activities, competitions, and exploring nature.
The playground is safe and easy to oversee, allowing teachers to keep an eye on the children at all times.
Accommodation and catering
Children are accommodated in cozy 2–4 bed rooms, each with a private bathroom and toilet. Teachers have separate rooms with their own facilities, ensuring peace and comfort after a full day of activities.
The area is enclosed, safe, and well-organized, allowing children to move freely outdoors without the risk of encountering other guests.
We provide five meals a day – honest homemade cuisine made from fresh ingredients that children truly enjoy:

Drinks are available throughout the day (water, syrups, teas).

Our goal is for children to eat with appetite, feel satisfied, and have plenty of energy for each adventure-filled day.

Our goal is to make organizing your school trip as easy as possible and to ensure that everything runs smoothly — from arrival to departure.
Ranch Jestřebice offers complete facilities for school groups of all ages:

Accommodation: 2–4 bed rooms with private bathrooms and toilets.

Meals 5× daily: homemade cuisine with the option to adjust the menu (gluten-free, vegetarian, or other diets available upon request).

All-day drinking regime included.

Enclosed and safe area, no external guests – children can freely use playgrounds, open spaces, and grassy areas.
For teachers, we provide:

Accommodation in a separate part of the area with private facilities.

Coffee break and the option of an evening gathering.

Assistance with planning the schedule and activities – whether you prefer more games, learning, trips, or relaxation.
We’re happy to prepare an individual offer based on the length of stay, children’s age, and your desired program.

The first week of June, we spent our preschool outdoor trip here at Ranch Jestřebice — and we couldn’t have wished for a more peaceful oasis. The stay felt more like a vacation than work for us teachers. Not only were we extremely satisfied with the accommodation and environment, but most importantly, the children were thrilled — whether by the activities the ranch offers or the delicious meals served throughout the week.
The children’s first reactions at the bus, saying goodbye to their parents, were emotional — but all worries disappeared the moment we arrived. From the very first moments, we were amazed. The staff were incredibly kind and took royal care of us the entire stay.
