TIC TAC TOE
Tic-Tac-Toe is a game for two players — one plays with crosses, and the other with noughts. Players take turns and try to be the first to create a row of five identical symbols — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Here, we play with wooden cubes threaded onto rods — when a square is free, the cube has a smooth side. When someone takes it, they flip it to show either a cross or a nought. And the game can begin!

Tic-Tac-Toe is one of the oldest games in the world! A similar game was played as far back as ancient Egypt and Rome — over 2,000 years ago! Back then, instead of paper, they used stones and sand.
Here, we call it piškvorky, but in English, it's called Tic-Tac-Toe or Noughts and Crosses. In Japan, a more complex version is played, called Gomoku.
Playing Tic-Tac-Toe trains thinking, planning, and patience. It's a great way to exercise your brain — and you might even beat your friend!
Tic-Tac-Toe was one of the first games that robots and computers learned to play. Scientists used it to teach computers to "think" like humans.
In the classic 3×3 version, a draw is always possible if both players play correctly. So if someone has never lost... they’re either a genius or maybe occasionally adding extra squares.
